BBC Proms Google Calendar - There's something about Mary...

May. 1st, 2011 01:09 pm BBC Proms Google Calendar

Afternoon folks!

Having checked with the BBC that no Google Calendar listing the Proms already exists, I have spent a few hours creating one and listing all the Proms in it.

I have made it public so that anyone that wants to can view it, add it to their chosen calendar/feed program or whatever.
Click on whichever link below suits you best :-)
Please note that it just has basic information in it for now: the Prom number, start/end times, and a list of the composers it features.
Over the next few weeks I will add (in the description box) more details, e.g which pieces are being performed and who the musicians are.  But bear with me as this will take a little while.

And don't forget, the BBC have produced a rather lovely Proms guide, available from all good newsagents and book shops, which contains far more information than I will ever manage to type in, so do go buy a copy.
If anyone spots any errors in what I have entered so far (or will enter in the future) then do please drop me a tweet to let me know, to @MaryRPerkins (or send an email to me via BBCPromsCalendar AT gmail DOT com)

No problem - it seemed to be something that was needed and wasn't available :-)
